How is this not child abuse? Clearly, he should have been to a doctor years ago, while he was still under 14. Remember folks, the creator gave us brains to think! Ans I think you killed your child.

When I was 10 years old I was diagnosed with the same problem as Neil. I am now 45. It's tragic and criminal that a young life can be snuffed out by such gross stupidity. Do these people even read their Bibles? Luke (Author of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles) was a doctor. Do they think that God was so against physicians that he would choose one to write two very significant works of the Bible?

Luke 9:1,2 "Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick."...Luke was referred to as a physician in the same manner Jesus is, I find it difficult to believe he was practicing medicine in the modern conventional sense when he had a powerful ability granted him and a mandate to perform with it!

I am getting sick and tired of hearing everyone putting the parents on the chopping block. I understand that they should be punished; but they don't belong in prison.

Jeff and Marci were born in that church and follow its statement of faith. The church teaches that God will cure everyone who follow their doctrine. They are not murders!

I think they should be given community service in a hospital. I believe that would be the worse case senerio for them.

It has come to my mind that they are comparing Neil Beagley's death to Terri Shivo. Here's the difference:

Terri was starved to death. That is murder. Terri Shivo was starved and deprived of water. Marci and Jeffery Beagley truly loved their son. They even had him on a meal plan and kept him hydrated. If anyone has a problem it should be with the church and its doctrine. The Beagleys loved they son and miss him tremendously!
