For those commenting on the bath...the child was lying in its own filth...she has soiled herself so I think it's only natural to want to clean the child. Perhaps it would have been wisest to call 911 then bath her but she did what she could.

Seriously,why abandon a healthy baby when people are lined up to adopt?! Thanks to this careless act this baby is in state custody and who knows how long she will be in foster care or how many homes she will be bounced around to instead of to a loving couples home for life!If the "Mom" and I use that term loosely,cared at all for this baby she would step up and accept responsibility for what she did!Give up this baby so she can have a happy,healthy life with people that will love and care for her always!
