Probably an illegal, if it's a Honda Civic!

Unreal...maybe the driver went to get help? I'm sure that would be one of the excuses if caught.

I WONDER IF THE PASSENGER COULD HAVE SURVIVED IF THE DRIVER GOT HELP BEFORE RUNNING?
IF THE ANSWER IS YES
THEN HE SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH MURDER.

I'm thinking the police HAVE checked to see if the car is owned by the passenger.....or maybe the driver (who fled the scene). The name and address should help out by naming or ruling out the driver / passenger.

You people that get on here and make posts should watch what you say. They were both 21 year old WHITE KIDS not illegal imigrants. They have more friends and family in the chesterfielsd area than you could even imagine and how would you feel if their mother's were reading this. Have a little resepct not only for the death of this young kid, but also for the KID that fled the scene out of fear and HIS FAMILY WHO DOESNT EVEN KNOW WHERE HE IS AT THIS POINT!!!!!!!!!! And in case you havent figured it out yet, both of these boys were friends of my brothers.

I would have to agree with Jessica in this case. Most people always think that whenever there is an accident in the Chesterfield are it has to involved an illegal inmigrant that is just wrong. Maybe a little more maners or more education will help those people who add that comment. Now maybe they will come back and say something incoherent but it doesn't matter. I made my point. I feel sorry for the family of the deceased.

"RIP" I am sure if you were good friends with the passenger than you know my brothers, and I am sorry for your loss. Just remember that as you pray for the death of the passenger, pray for strength and guidance in the driver. Hopefully he will do the right thing and turn himself in. The passenger received his wings and is in a better place now, the driver has a long shameful road ahead of him and is going need to all the help he can get.
As for the rest of you who commented after me, thanks for your support. Your right, white, black, hispanic, it doesnt/shouldnt matter. A life was lost this weekend due to an accident caused by his "bestfriend" and now two families and one VERY LARGE group of friends are suffereing.

Do you know who it is? Some friends they have if one flees and doesn't own up!

As he fled the scene, he wasn't thinking straight. His state of mind might even be described as one of temporary insanity. Try putting yourself in that situation - You just did something really stupid and your buddy is now dead because of your actions. I don't think many of us can accurately predict how we would react in such a scenario.

My condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, I'm truly sorry. As for the driver, I'm also sorry. He has to live with this.

Mia - yes I know who both boys are & do you read the newspaper?!? They were best friends sense elementary school, and THEY WERE KIDS!!! For now all of you that are judging the driver should just keep your thoughts to yourself bc until they find him he needs just as much prayer as the passenger. He needs guidance to do the right thing, his family is in shambles bc they don't know where he is....OH AND IT DID EVER OCCUR TO ANYONE THAT THE DRIVER WAS PROBABLY INJURED TOO AND COULD BE LAYING DEAD SOMEWHERE!!!!!!!!!! He's a 21 year old KID so he only has but so many places to run, I'm sure anyone one that would help him would also turn him in, and he hasn't been found in a hospital yet.....HMMMMMM SO PUT IT ALL TOGETHER YOUR IGNORANT PEOPLE AND HAVE SOME FREAKIN RESPECT!

People shouldn't jump to conclusions... This is such a tragedy for both families, they BOTH lost their sons due to one's poor judgement. They know who the driver is, and will hopefully find him sooner than later. I PRAY THAT ANYBODY WITH KNOWLEDGE OF WHERE THIS KID IS WILL TURN HIM IN SO JUSTICE CAN BEGIN IT'S COURSE!!!!

the driver and the passenger are two of my verry good friends. they were close friends and im not trying to justify what he did but we dont understand what he felt. he was scared and he was across the street from his cousins so he ran there. he also went to the passengers house and spoke to family personaly before turning himself in. i think that he should get some respect for being a man and doing what he had to do. we love and miss you alex, and to justin, im sorry this happened. stay strong. also, i dont know for sure but ive been told he went back that night and spoke to police for a few hours. he was told to go home and turn himself in after the weekend. i dont know, but i believe him

your an idiot, have a little respect and start thinking about comments before you make them. I know you wouldn't be making comment like this if it were your friends in the accident.

I know the child's mother, she is one of the sweetest women I have ever known. I can't believe she has to suffer such a terrible tragedy, especially at this time of year. Having lost a child myself at Thanksgiving, I can tell all who have never experienced such a loss, you can't even imagine what a living hell it is. But the parents of the boy who was driving, have lost as well. Pray for all involved, their lives have all been changed forever. And most importantly, remember we all make mistakes as we go through life, I am sure if he could relive that night knowing what he is dealing with now, he would have probably made better choices. He has lost his childhood friend because of his bad behavior, he will not recover easily from this and needs all the prayers he can get.

I cannot believe some of the comments Im reading on here. Brad.. how dare you, you are one of the most ignorant people who have posted on here and you have the nerve to say that "friend" wouldnt have posted what he did if he was really a friend. I know both the driver and the passenger as well and "friend" was right, they were best friends. Justin was in shock after the accident and didnt know what he was doing when he left. Can any of you honestly say that you know you wouldnt have done the same thing? He went back after he realized what he did. And he was man enough to talk to Alex's family before turning himself in. I dont think I could have done that if I were in his shoes.
Come on now

He left because he was driving outside the guidelines of his suspended license or was using alcohol. Either way there is nothing honest about running away. It sucks all the same for everyone involved.
