She was arrested for DUI before arriving at her vehicle? Did she enter the vehicle or start it up? Sounds like an easy out to me.

How do you know she wasn't going for the shotgun in the trunk instead of driving away? DUI laws rape the constitution.

shes an amazing person. stop giving her crap. yeah, she made a bad choice but she was drunk. im not saying its okay, but how many people get a DUI everyday!? just because she's a volunteer doesn't mean a perfect person. Again, that's volunteer.. not a teacher. Give it a rest, ya'll sound pathetic. Everyone makes mistakes, how can she learn from it from all those NEGATIVE people out there.
Love you xoxo
You are right...she is amazing. She had a concerned bartendeder trying to save her hide and wanted to be a smartarss. How many people carry around a spare set of car keys? Maybe this has happened more than once. Assaulting an officer and busting out a window? Kid, stay in school. Do yourself a favor and Learn Something of Value.

Any person can resist an unlawful arrest.
True, but this was not unlawful. Watch and see. She will lose.

Spoken like a true enabler. How many DUI do you have moron? I think people that get 1 DUI should get 5years in jail, loose their driving privlages permantly and pay a ten thousand dollar fine. And double that if they do it again, their time life in prison. DUI drivers a the lowest form of life. And as for that stupid crap about lapse judgement that is like saying I cant believe Ed Gein was a really nice old man, and he watched everyone kids in town and was a good handyman, but he made a "lapse" in judgement on his personal time digging up bodies and wearing their skin. Maggie you are truly and asshat!

If students were under her care at the time, that's one thing, but just because she made a huge lapse in judgement on her personal time, it shouldn't be reported. Let he who is without sin ...

Yeah!! And anybody caught chewing gum in school should have their teeth pulled out one by one with not so much as a napkin. Then on the second offense put them back in while swinging by there neck on a rope.

And no I don't have any DUI's. The one I was charged with 22 yrs ago was dropped to wreckless driving, 6 pionts 200 dollar fine. No teeth pulling and no rope.

Get a life dude oh yea of perfection.

So Mort, what you are saying is she shouldn't have anything done to her, just a slap on the wrist. No she didn't kill anyone, she wasn't given the chance.

As for the comment on the bartender, not all people who work in bars are low lifes who don't care about anything. I applaud the bartender for recognizing she was wasted and taking her keys, then calling a cab before she pulled her spare set out. Calling police was the last option. Get over it, stop trolling. You were wrong, deal with it.

Ok, she got too drunk and acted like an idiot. Big deal. What I think is interesting, she was arrested for drunk driving and not even in her car yet. This will be a little bump in the road for her. Any half wit lawyer can walk in and out with this one, even with the busted up cruiser.

Doesn't matter if a volunteer OR a paid school board employee, she's held to a morally higher standard than the average person. What she did went far beyond bad judgment. She doesn't need to be around children anymore until she can prove she can act accordingly.

Those of you wishing to make excuses for this individual are part and parcel of what is going with this country.
Sincerely

WOW - saved by some smart people that tried to stop her from killing herself or some innocent family! Hats off to the bar manager!
