I think the last sentence could be rewritten: "Miller was a volunteer dance team coach at Chesterfield's Manchester High School."

This is the problem - our standards are now so low that students see nothing wrong with this behavior and view her as a role model.

I wonder if this is her booking photo, or DMV photo. Those eyes are pretty glassy and dialated. That would indicate more than alcohol.

How many jpeople get arrested EVERY DAY for DUI? This isn't news-worthy. So what if she's a volunteer? So she made a huge mistake, it doesn't need to be plastered all over the news. If students were under her care at the time, that's one thing, but just because she made a huge lapse in judgement on her personal time, it shouldn't be reported. Let he who is without sin ...

Hope the judge takes this article and picture plastered on the news into consideration when they sentence her. Good night the girl is in enough trouble.

This is the exact point I'm making. You see nothing wrong with this behavior. We've become so passive and forgiving of everything. You have a president look the people square in the eyes and say "I did not have sex with that woman" - easy, just a quick example!!! You have Michael Vick killing dogs and bankrolling dogfighting. The list is endless. I'm just amazed so many are so accepting of these type behaviors. Nothing matters -

I would guess that because she kicked out the window in a police cruiser. Well at least all that dance practice has lead her to a new career with Gallagher.

Sorry....anyone who drinks & drives should be plastered all over the news. This isn't just a "mistake" or a "lapse in judgement"....she could easily have killed someone. People need to learn that whatever they do in life, good/bad, will have consequences.

DUI is the least of her problems. She is also facing felony assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, and damage to public property. They can always change the charge to public intoxication. She is toast.

shes an amazing person. stop giving her crap. yeah, she made a bad choice but she was drunk. im not saying its okay, but how many people get a DUI everyday!? just because she's a volunteer doesn't mean a perfect person. Again, that's volunteer.. not a teacher. Give it a rest, ya'll sound pathetic. Everyone makes mistakes, how can she learn from it from all those NEGATIVE people out there. Love you xoxo
