please vaccinate your pets...i just took my strictly indoors kitten to the spca and had him neutered, rabies vaccine, leukemia vaccine and distemper vaccine for $70...$40 of that was for the surgery...it's too bad that they had to euthanize the cat but it sounds like it was for the best, with the injuries and all...

Interesting they didn't mention the kid in that same general neighborhood that got rabies from his cat a week ago, which in turn got it from a raccoon. If the HOA would have let me put landmines in my backyard like I asked, this could have been avoided.

There are plenty of rabies clinics around town so no excuse for not vaccinating your pets. I've had a series of rabies shots myself. It's not fun.
