I'll say ... chaos I tell you, absolute havoc. I live in Savannah and was hesitant to go; always listen to your first instinct!

what do we do about the spoiled food that was our refrigerators? I have not seen or read one thing on that? I know i went shopping that afternoon...now I'm dairy less. and out at least 50$ of food...

I don't know what they are talking about when they say the light's went out about 10 it was more like 9 something and we didn't get our electric back on till 11 Am the next day! As for the food, that's a great question! no one has any IDEA! Guess if you have a Blackout in Savannah GA it's your loss.

There is no excuse for what happened Sat. night in the Savannah region. One event in Effingham county should not have caused the entire region to seperate from the national transmission grid. Georgia Power has some big time explaining to do. If I had incurred losses due to this outage I would contact Georgia Power's claims department and demand just compensation.

I was downtown when it went black. and it was a scary feeling. I got a call from my mom and said said a tornato was heading our way. yes it was scary.
