May god bless the family that gave this gift of life so that a part of their child could life on after death. I know it is hard for them but at least they know they have saved another by doing this. I wish all the luck and joy to the baby and the family of this miricle. And that all have a happy new year.

Praying for Allison

We have been praying all week for Allison and I got chills when I heard the news they found her a liver. Like her Aunt Amy keeps saying God is Good. He has a plan for everyone and bless the family who lost their 7 year old and thank them all at the same time. He has added another angel to his team. We will continue to pray for both families through these trying times.

God is good...all the time. My prayer tonight is that He pours out His blessing to all families who, at the most difficult hour of their lives, put aside their grief long enough to make the selfless decision to give the gift of life. Peace and comfort to you, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Readers, please consider the overwhelming difference you can make in a life like Allison's by becoming an organ donor. There are three things you can do to become an organ donor in Florida:

* Have a conversation with your family and tell them your wishes.
* Sign and carry a donor card, downloadable from the Florida Coalition on Donation at www.fcod.org .
* Join Florida’s organ donor registry by visiting a motor vehicle office near you.

There is no greater gift that a person can give than the gift of life. My best friend is living today because of an organ donor. It's easy to sign up. And make sure to have the "donor" conversation with your family. Make them understand the importance of this simple, unselfish act. We'll be praying for both families.

this is a great story to start off the new year with with all the drama and tragedy last year had. God bless both these families and this cute little girl..and the girl who lost her life , there is a special place in heaven for her and her parents for giving up such a gift. everyone please be an organ donor. AND NO...hospitals will not let you go to be able to use your organs. thats a myth...dont forget you can also donate bone marrow while you are living.
