Charleston County Council to consider Kiawah River Plantation TIF
#1 May 22, 2012
Don't know why this is considered controversial now. Zoning was approved back in 2009 and supported by the Coastal Conservation League at that time. What has changed? This development will bring jobs to the area and improve our local economy. TIFs are a long term benefit that make it possible for developers to build which stimulates our economy. We need projects like this one.
