About 10 of these dogs killed (I mean DESTROYED) 2 cats in my neighborhood around 4:00am this morning and chased a bicyclist. My husband and a neighbor followed the dogs and kept them cornered with their trucks for almost an hour. When police arrived I was informed that Animal Control does not work at night. They have known for weeks that these dogs only show themselves at night!!! They could have captured at least a few of them this morning. These dogs are not yet fully grown and they have already threatened a small horse and now humans... what happens when they're bigger? What happens when school starts? Please join me in calling Animal Control to demand that they work at night until the dogs are captured!!

Are they going to round up all the stray cats too and charge the owners with animal-neglect, animal-abandonment, and animal-endangerment? No matter how a free-roaming cat dies, that is directly due to the criminally irresponsible behavior of the owner. Those cats' owners need to be fined and convicted as well. Or maybe "put down" for the safety of everyone. After all, their cats even cause fatal car accidents from people swerving their cars to avoid hitting them. What's the penalty for a cat-owner that continuously throws their own cat under the wheels of cars yet tells everyone how much they love their cat?
