A prosecutor has recommended Charleston County Sheriff Al Cannon be charged with misdemeanor assault and battery for slapping a handcuffed suspect after a high-speed chase.

What about the deputy who repeatedly beat the suspect? That was a felony assault.

I agree what about the Deputy that repeatedly beat the suspect? He should have most definitely been charged with a felony. I bet this does wonders for community relations.

Me too. I saw the videos from dash cams. The deputy went postal for no good reason. Beat that guy severa time in the head and stuff.
