You don't have a free roaming dog problem, you have a free roaming invasive species cat problem. The dogs are just solving your criminally-irresponsible cat-owner problem for you. Remove the dogs then coyotes will move in to take care of those ecological-disaster cats for you, or hawks, etc. Your free roaming cats are always going to attract some kind of predator. And if not animal predators then humans will have to step in as predator to take out your illegally roaming cats for you. Nobody's tolerating criminally irresponsible cat-lovers anymore, with you letting their destructive disease-infested invasive species cats roaming free. Someone or something IS going to take them out if you don't keep them under supervised confinement -- where your lousy waste-of-flesh cats damn well belonged in the first place.
