So, let me get this straight. Other people's divorces don't cheapen my marriage. I guess it also makes sense that gay marriage doesn't cheapen our marriages. I think anybody with a shred of common sense would agree with that. Thank you for putting to rest the issue.

Other peoples divorces: Do not cheapen your marriage Jimbo, nor does it cheapen mine Jimbo.

Unless you are in a gay marriage that does not cheapen your marriage or mine Jimbo.

However I must say... I concentrate on mine...not yours or my neighbors.... unlike it seems of you Jimbo. Common sense would say you should worry about only yours.

You've made my point for me. Why does anybody worry about who's marrying who, or who's divorcing who? I was simply pointing out the hypocracy of the conservatives. Thanks for playing.

I think if you're not going to obey the vows of your marriage, you should at least have the commonsense to think about the consequences of your actions and decide how much you're willing to lose in the gamble.

He's thrown away 20 years of marriage. I'm sure the action will cost him dearly and affect his relationship with his children as well.

As we've seen with Tiger Woods and others, this situation isn't just a political one.. it's a moral one. All actions have consequences.

Now he will be free to fly away to his soul mate.

Actually, as yukky as it is, his affair wasn't my biggest problem with his staying on as governor. He left the state without leaving anyone else in charge, didn't even tell anyone where he was going, as a matter of fact lied to staff about his whereabouts. That is a complete dereliction of duty and he should have been impeached -- or resigned under pressure.

I hope his wife will find happiness.

I agree. I'm sure she will end up with every dollar he has or will have. I wonder if his "soul mate" will want a "broke mate" after all is said and done?
