Former Carteret sheriff begins serving prison sentence

A former Carteret County sheriff convicted in federal court of skimming funds intended for drug investigations has begun serving his 14-month prison sentence.

The job is far from done there were others in on this some were deputies back when he was sheriff. Also there are some that were officers of the court in carteret county.Some are still judges, attorneys, that same district. Some even ran in the past election for judge, all are guilty for crimes of greed and the abuse of power, drugs and funds.
