I knew Michael Price and his family. When Michael was about 15, his Mom told me that she could not take care of Michael, because he "gets mean" and she could not handle him. Michael was a very big boy, I'm not sure how the young man was supposed to have caused Michaels death, but if his parents could not handle him, how could anyone else???? Maybe the other young man was defending himself.

The mother was not able to handle hin because she was fighting a battle with cancer and the doctors thought it best he be placed there because of the uncertainty of what was going to happen to her,

why would you make statements you know nothing about, my husband was one of mikes caregivers at CPI he had left sadly quite a few months before mike's untimely death. it does not matter the size you people are missing the big picture this man was really a boy he had cerebel palsy and there is no excuse to beat on someone with mental problems i know the family and the police report gave a very descripted and brutal beating that mike suffered. this is a very SAD world we live in

Thank you for defending Mike, I seen in todays paper where the two men pleaded guilty yesterday, And that there were more to be tried yet, One of them got 8 years and the other got 5 years. How did the mak that run the place not know what was going on in that hell hole. People you just can not beat these people and get by with it. This is going on all over the state in different home, Somerset, Winchester and Birgin, Ky for just a few, Then the great Judge will have the last say when the Lord takes over on judgement day, The bible says though shall not kill. There will be a final judgement that day.

No one beat anyone, restraints were used, Mike was an aggressive man. Several residents and employees were wounded by him. People were at the wrong place at the wrong time. Mistakes happened, it costed to boys time in prison, and threatens several more. Don't place judgement if you don't know the facts. He who hast not sinned, cast the first stone........

They need to be there instead of out on the streets still. They got of easy they should have got 20 years with out parole. The other bunch should also, Thompson was another one that beat Michael They had these men in there working and teaching them holds that had been outlawed a couple of years ago. They moved the body after they killed him and cleaned up the blood The house was put under a crime tape. I went in the house and went to micheals room ,There was blood everywhere. This bunch for Community presence even stole Micheal personal items & clothes and his television. They are a bunch of scumm balls. There were some of the people there that were good to Micheal, if you are one of them I want to say thank you. There was a woman that came to his funeral that lied to us about his death. She needs to learn to tell the truth. Even Brottles had the nerve to come to the funeral home, He had better thank God that we didn't know the truth then, He couldn't come in the funeral home and look Mike in the face,

they will be in prison, but what about the man they killed, are they just suppose to be patted on the back, and say sorry we know you didn't mean to kill him, you were just angry because he didn't do just what you wanted him to do. Get real, these people are in those homes because they are not able to care for themselves, not to be treated worse than animals,,,,,,,,,,LOOK WHAT YOU JUST WROTE, I CAN NOT BELEIVE YOU ARE FOR REAL,,,,,,,,,

Well if people and employees were wounded by him and people were at the wrong place at the wrong time then why didn't the CEO step in and do something about it? Those 2 boys had choices. They had the training and if he was so out of control and couldn't handle him then why didn't they just call the police? There was no excuse for what they did. None what so ever.

No one was beat up and there was not blood everywhere. You people don't need to be posting about things you know nothing about. Matt was actually filling in for someone that day. He wasn't trained to work with people like mikey. He was supposed to be working with the younger smaller people but they decided to make him fill in that day. If you knew him you would know he didn't do it. It was an accident. The kid died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. All the hospitals and medical centers in the area actually refused to take mikey b/c he was hard to handle. So if he was having a heart attack and throwing a fit what can anyone do?? They took a plea-bargin just to get on with their fucking lives and to put it all behind. Matt is innocent. He is one of the most caring individuals you'll ever meet. get the facts before you run your fucking mouths about shit.

When they called the police if and when they did show up, they tasered and peppered sprayed this same individual. You want to know why???Because they (Steele) was afraid of him. The proper prodical was to call the police, but sometimes they just wouldn't show up. Period end of sentence. If you have ever worked with someone that has this type of disability, you may want to think poor handicapped person, but when that person tries to take your head half off and is four times stronger than you are, what do you do? I have dealth with disabled people for many years and I know for a fact that sometimes they can have immense strength. I'm not making excuses, because I do not know what happened that night. I wasn't there. I don't even know the men, but I do know that no one would help with him, not even the people who prosecuted the men.
