I am so happy to hear that the judge ruled in favor of the Commissioners. Everyone in Carrollton knows that Don Warner is only out to help himself. Do me a favor Don Don't file anymore lawsuits on my behalf!!

This is great! I am so relieved. No one wants to look at an eyesore, it is such a beautiful place. Thanks to Warner's I'm sure the county has had to spend some money on this lawsuit. Maybe they should repay the taxpayers for this nonsense! Now hopefully they can make a go of it. They definitely need some new ideas, a new golf course isn't going to be all they need to do. Same old won't cut it today. The resort already had a golf pro in the past. Here's the chance, make or break.

This is such awesome news!!! I heard the lodge was booked with a waiting list for New Year's Eve! Mr. Warner....I do believe you did more damage for your business than good with these actions! When my family comes to visit from out of town again....definitely won't send them to the Days Inn to stay. Who benefited from your actions? Who will benefit in the days ahead? Gheez....what a waste of our taxpayers money but a very positive outcome for the taxpayers!

Does Warner have to repay the taxpayer for legal

So happy to hear this had a good outcome. If you go to the new Atwood Resort one can see the plans displayed in the lobby. The golf course is just a one addition. It's going to be quite a resort! Yes, New Years was booked full for both parties including the rooms. I hope they continue to do so well in the future. The Warner's don't realize that competition can be good for other businesses. All the surrounding business will do better with the Lodge re-opened. Are they also going to whine when the new motel is constructed across the street from Days Inn?

Don and Robin Warner Leave Carroll County if you don't like the commissioners being in charge of the Atwood Resort. We need people who want the best for our county.

Good for Atwood Resort, Carroll County and our Commissioners.

I really don't care one way or the other on this ruling, but the commissioners better never use taxpayers' money to fund or run this facility. The deal was done on the premise that it could sustain itself. Right now it is running on oil money. Don't believe the hype of occupancy. This thing hasn't chnaged enough to bring in people to saty there. Also, don't believe that the golf club remake will do anything either. There are far too many golf courses in the are with better access to better restaurants and evening activities.
