To the Editor: I have read with interest the letter to the editor written by John Meeske concerning Atwood Lodge Properties.

More Hot Air from Tom Weaton. I am gald to see there are plans for Atwood and Carroll County, but does Tom have to do all the talking for everyone all the time?

He states that they are required to reinvest the mineral proceeds into the Lodge property, yet they won't do the same with the County Home proceeds. Shame on the commissioners. None of you will get my vote ever again. The County Home problem has painted you all a very bad color.

Oh how very generous of the MWCD to give us what WE ,AS THE TAXPAYERS. ALREADY OWN.
They should give the land back to the Truman family who they took it from in the first place.
Millions of revenue in oil leasing and still assessing us? If they charge us for our run off, we should get to share in the revenues when they sell OUR water for fracking.
