LOL, sure it's the -HEAT- that's causing the ever-increasing drop in attendance. There simply no reason for people to go anymore. Ask around and you get the same responses. It used to be a really nice fair, not so much these days. It's embarrassing.

No entertainment again this year. Phil Dirt is old and boring. As far as the heat, why do we not move it to August or September?

I went to the fair thought it was great. Reason it was great was both my children enjoyed themselves. My son enjoyed riding the rides and watching the pulls. Granit there wasn't much there but to me my enjoyment was fullfield. To me thats all that matters. I think many adults in this town need a reality check.

Of course with lousy ( or no ) entertainment , no one is going to attend . No attractions of any interest and a board that doesn't know HOW to run a proper fair . They complain about low gate receipts , what about the money they've saved over the past eight or nine years by not paying for security .

Im sorry to say but I dont think it was all due to the heat although I'm sure some of it was ... Id like to see the entertainment and amusement company change. Lisko is a HUGE downgrade from the amusement company that was in there a few years ago. I really wish they would be brought back, my kids liked the old rides so much better.

I agree, The rides are horrible anymore. They use to have a lot more and better quality years ago. Hopefully they take that into consideration and bring the old amusement company back. My son doesn't like the rides now as much either, He was also upset that there was no skee ball...

I'm tired of your game (and everyone like you)! I notice those who like to complain never offer solutions; you just want a chance to say how clueless other people are. The fair can always get better - why not offer to help? But then you would lose a chance to exercise your favorite pastime...bitching!

July= heat=fair......no surprises. Is the fair the fair of yesteryear? No. I do believe that the people in charge are doing the very best that can be done in these trying times. I salute their efforts!!!

I highly doubt that the heat caused such a low attendance this year. The fair is simply getting more worse with every passing year. Suggestions that I would offer would be to one, have it in a different month . It seems that every fair week it is either too hot or it rains. I would also suggest having different entertainment in the evenings. Maybe like a battle of the bands, motorcross, or something. If they were concerned about having money for stuff every year they could even charge a dollar or two to park and use that money to get better stuff for the fair. I remember the good ole days where there were bumper cars, exotic animals and such.
