‘Very good letter. I have always felt; 'as long as MWCD was associated in any way with the Atwood Lake Resort, it would be destined to be doomed. And this only confirms my convictions. It wouldn’t hurt for this correspondence to be reviewed by the Governor.

Over 50 million in royalties and they still take $12 from each of us and God only knows how much from our hard working business owners. MWCD and its greedy upper eschelon has been fleecing Ohio for years. I can only imagine that our elected officials and Judges are 'on the take' because they can't be THAT STUPID.

Why does this commentary not surprise us. We fought MWCD for almost 5 yrs against their taxing people in the 18 counties. We were told how many times they had to unload Atwood resort because of the money pit drain. They have no intention of letting anyone make money on that place. All MWCD is concerned about is their raises and money in their pockets. They are a bunch of dishonest lawyers changing the rules to suit themselves. Of course what we preached about during all our meetings with citizens what MWCD would not do with their tax on the people, but what they would do with the money and most have come true. That Dover dam that was due to fail at any minute they said, is still there. Most of the list of things they were going to do with that money was a farce. You read in the papers all the time about the grants they are getting from us the taxpayers to match the funds. Just like the lottery it doesn't go where it was intended. They speak with forked tongue and we knew it years ago. Just now the rest of the people are finding out how out of control they have become.
