What a shame. But in a way, 'not surprising at all. Mark it up as a learning experience when dealing with these outfits. In my opinion (and not only mine), their so called job fair was somewhat smoke and mirrors, too. It appears; they got the few CDL driver they needed and now it's sayonara. It's ever more apparent as time goes on; it's very difficult to try to deal with some of these 'outfits' in an honest way. 'Unfortunate for the honest players. We need to wise up to some of these clowns and do whatever it takes to keep the playing field level.

I think the commissioners put the cart before the horse. One more indication that this is all beyond their area of expertise.

Let me see.

Tuscarawas County has a better infastructure, road system, internet access, housing oportunities, schools, and family activities. Carroll County has none of that. We had a group that wanted to put in housing and the village wanted them to paved the streets. It should have been we'll pave the streets if you put in the housing.

There is nothing here and nothing to give. The minerals are it.

One more thing we have 1 piece of crap grocery store and a Dollar General half store. If the commissioners want to get these people here then start providing better infastructure!

The commissioners as usual blew this one! Before you even think about all these grants for all this infrastructure improvements you have a signed purchase agreement. If its not on paper its never gonna happen! And to think these idiots have given the county home farm away!

I think Carrollton is a great place to live and raise a family. If you don't think so, exercise your right to MOVE somewhere else. If you choose to stay, please become part of the solution rather than rambling about what we don't have. Put your name on a ballot if you have the answers. If not, stop complaining about what is done. I am tired of everyone wanting to tear down my town. Please stop it!
