Just a clarifying technical note; the water flow is measured in cubic feet per SECOND, not per minute.
That's an understandable error, because so many measurements are based on minutes.

The level of the lakes behind Oakdale should be lowered in preperation for winter rains and snow runoff...last January and February floods could have been avoided if the current owners would have run the dam as a flood control dam as the Army Corp. did instead of a power plant only...What happened last year is criminal and no one will be held accountable for it...Dams are man made, snow and rain are not...NIPSCO should have paid for damage!
