Carroll teacher charged with sexual misconduct

A 37-year teacher in the Carroll schools, Robert Dale Rogers, was charged Thursday in Carroll County District Curt with sexual exploitation by a school employee.

I was one of his students. He was a decent teacher but liked to put his hand on his shoulder once in a while. I didn't hear the whole story but I knew one day it would come. He is the second person from the carroll community school district in 2 years!

Pitt, long time no see. Rogers was a damn good teacher who was able to bring literature to life in the classroom. This kid is pathetic and his parents are too. His mother knew of the situations and stood by until she was able to cash in on the situation. Not knowing all of the rest of the story, I have to agree with Pitt that Carroll is full of greedy conservative catholic brats. Try walking through Carroll as a stranger and see how far you get!

NO. it was actually a boy who he abused for 2 years. and that boy was my best friend and later to be my fiancee. he has PTSD and has to deal with what that monster did to him DAILY. thankfully, me and his mom got him out of it!

i was actually the victims best friend. and nobody knew. we all knew they "hung out" but the student never mentioned to me or his family about it until one day he told his sister in confidence. she forced him to tell his mom but he refused to do it. finally we set up a recording and got the proof. Rogers may have been a good teacher, but he is a horrible person. i was there every minute of it!
