I fully believe that Benjamin Field should have been paying attention to Luke while he was batting. What were doing pickin flowers????? It's baseball. Pay attention and most importantly don't try to sue someone for not paying attention to the game your playing.

I just voted no on 3 supreme ct justices and no on about 15 district judges. Get them out before they let Rubashkin go.

Nevada Guy, you obviously have not gotten a quality education. You wouldn't survive the schooling and experience they have to go through to get to those positions.

Isn't there an "assumed risk" when it comes to sports? Jeez, why do all the crybabies sue every time they get a boo boo? Suck it up and have some self respect.

I agree that there are risks with every sport. However, how do you get a bat from home plate to first base and have it hit someone hard enough to cause that kind of damage? It sounds like he either had malicious intent against the first baseman or he was a totally reckless idiot who shouldn't be playing the sport.
