Why is it so hard to figure out. The kid was given a car that was way to fast for him to handle. Irresponsible parents allow thier kids to drive cars like this and they are not mature enough to understand what consequences there are when this happens. A person lost their life because an immature kid was speeding. I know a jail sentence won't bring carl back but he needs to be punished for his actions and I believe a jail term is necessary. If he goes to court and I was on the jury I would vote for a jail term. Everyone needs to ask themselves what would they want if Carl was their child. The driver was negligent and needs to pay his dues to society. GOD BLESS Carls family.

I used to drive drunk in a Triumph TR7 when I was sixteen on the same road. So the sportscar theory is out the window, so is DUI. I just am a great driver just like I eat the muff.
