Oink! Oink! Oink! McCall's Democrat snout stays rooting the public trough. Already well off with his state pension, the former speaker continues taking taxpayers' money just as Coy did. Typical Democratic Party behavior and sleaze.

Funny, the article did not mention the other appointee.

Scarnati, the Republican Senate leader, appointed a former aide.

They might as well just say "thanks for your help, old friend. Here's a cushy $145k a year job for you".

Every state does it. political favors. Just the same manner how Palin got appointed to the oil board in Alaska.

Lets just make the board a state house/Senate committee. At least we could save the salaries.

There's plenty of greed and sleazy appointments on both the republican & democratic sides in Harrisburg.

It's past time for an entire house cleaning and a citizen's panel that would monitor all questionable political activity.

$145K a year + his retirement + health insurance + any other perks. Wow! The Job Fair didn't have any opening for that job. 8811

Funny how Dave the Liberal Puke begins many of his posts with the word "funny". What is so funny about corruption, Davie?

I blame both parties. I see you had no problem with earlier posters slamming the Democrat even though your beloved Republican did basically the same thing.

The funny part was how the article talks about the Democratic appointee while ignoring the Republican one.

I never said corruption was funny.
