couldn't it could be remodeled?i mean i remember going there for church as a kid.it had a nice view.i know that a meth head caused the fire but couldn't it be fixed up.it might take some money but i think it would be a good investment.i knew the original owner ,Mr Thacker ,a real good man.i watched Mohammad Alli fight someone (Holmes or Frazer i think )from a sixth story room. my point is i have some good memories from that place and i would like to see it saved.

I was told that no one will touch it to remodel it because there is some strange ordinance that if the town doesn't have a fire truck with a ladder tall enough to reach above the second story of the building, then it can't be reopened for business. This is what I was told, don't know how true it is though. Sad that it can't be saved though. Place would look great if some developer fixed it up properly.

We need to sign a petition and have the site given to the state. Under its current condition it would be considered condemed if the county pulled together on this subject i believe the old christmas tree inn could be renovated and turned into a positive enviroment. we have homeless families sleeping all over this community and this huge empty building. What if we merged the two together,In this economy there are more and more homeless and needy. Yes the structure is an eye sore, and is a dangerous enviroment. Just think of the possibilities.:)
