Looming federal budget cuts could affect air travel

Closing the air traffic control tower at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport near Latrobe is included in $600 million worth of possible cuts announced today by the Federal Aviation Administration.

It will be interesting to see how eliminating the air traffic control tower will affect Latrobe's airport and Spirit Airlines' operation. It's got to make things tougher for them and certainly can't be conducive to the hopes of increasing air traffic through the airport.

Do the planes stop every day? or does someone notify the planes when there's one person standing at the gate at the little rural airport?

If the airport had 400 passengers a day, it would be a rockin' and a rollin' right Moz?

Do not believe the person/s behind the curtain. They are like the the Wizard of Oz...all talk...not real. We have already had one of the biggest hoaxes pulled over on us in politics. Is the American public going to fall for this one, too? It is just more of the same.
