Cambria County Judge Norman Krumenacker
needs to leave the amish alone. everyone knows that they shun anything modern and that is part of thier religion.
Therefore, he is NOT respecting thier religion and he is in fact PERSECUTING THEM!
i heard this judge lets child molesters and rapists go.
if only the rapists had outhouses, then they would be put in jail.
isnt this private property that the outhouse are on?
I think this judge should be disbarred.

first of all i was born and raised amish in the same sect as these amish as a mater of fact the person that is going to jail is my cousin now what the judge was asking them to do is not against there religon that is a fact it is all about making a statement against something that the amish don,t want to do it is not that they can,t do it it also has nothing to do with religious persecution it is about the law of the land and this judge tried for over a year to come to a compromise and they refused to negotiate it hurts me to the core to see my amish culture go to such extremes to fight for something that they don,t even believe in nor can they back it up with religon ask them to back it up with something concrete they will only say its against our religon but they can not explain why it is

You said it, Sam H. In Pennsylvania Dutch the word for what these Amish are doing is "dick-keppich". Translation: stubborn. Sounds better in dutch.
Like a good friend says: the quickest way to lose your freedom of religion is by abusing it. And these Amish dudes are doing a bang-up job of abusing it.
