Many factors impact county budget
A wide variety of developments, from increased costs in the county's pension fund contributions to lower landfill fees, are impacting Cambria County's 2009 budget, the commissioners said Tuesday.

I think it is unconscionable to ask the taxpayers to pick up the costs of pensions, health care etc etc when a large part of the taxpayers either have none or pay for it themselves. Government should have to live within its means just like us taxpayers have to do. I, and many others, can't go and say we need more money because of dwindling cash, we have to cut back and make do.
Government of the people by the people should have to line within their budget like the people. They need to make more cuts and harder choices.
