Agreed. He's out driving drunk while my kids & family's out on the road. I'm hoping the outcry gets louder 'cause he's not gonna resign on his own.

realy the hypocracy of any public official commiting the same crimes that he is charged with helping prevent is untolerable. he should not resighn, fire his ass throw the maximum weight of the law at him becouse you know he prosecuted hundreds of people without lieniancy for the same crime he commited.

Right now, there isn't too much that can be done...

He was arrested & went through the legal process that follows until now....

What is to come is what is going to be important...He should resign immediately!

If he doesn't get jail time out of this, that's when the screaming is going to start....

I am a friend of the Ward family and I think yal are being to hard on him as a prosecuter. granted what he did more than once was very wrong and definatly unexceptable but hes also just like us and he also just like us did his time. Regarding his job he has served as pros. and has done a good job. although again what he did was bad it does not effect his job duties or preformance.

Even though he's human there are certain jobs that demand strict compliance with the laws. The job I'm in, I would lose my job immediately if I had a D.U.I. I've been made fully aware of this & if I choose not to abide then I knew in advance my job was at stake, & I have no right to complain. Anyone in these types of jobs knows this, you cannot effectively, fairly prosecute someone else for something you wiggled out of yourself. I don't know this Prosecutor or the circumstances, if he paid his due like every other citzen then justice was served in that aspect, but it dosen't change the fact that as a Prosecutor he's lost his creditabilty & ability to effectively prosecute other for the same offence.

i personally don't know mike ward and even though i don't agree with drunk driving and am very much against it, i have to stop and wonder about if i was diagnosed with cancer, what would my reaction be?i doubt very seriously i would be thinking clearly and i doubt very seriously that mike ward was thinking clearly either.

Cancer & the shocking news of having cancer is terrible, I've lost family members to cancer & had it myself, but I've also lost a very good friend to a drunk driver, his responsibility was the same as anyone else's, call family, a friend or a cab, but don't drive & possible injure or kill someone else.

Oops, didn't know it was interfering with your space, it takes as much time for you to open & read as it does to post. I also have a pretty good & fulfilling life, some days I'm on here & others I'm not. The beauty of it is you are not obligated to check if anyone's posting or not.
I may not know this person personally, but I know the town he represents very well & it's the issues I'm commenting on. Without responses there would be no forum's for you to go on & check up on people though, so there's a solution for you, don't read them. Not even to sound like a smart a** but I can't see why it bothers you. If I'm not being mean spirited or spreading lies, then why should it matter to you how I spend my time?

There is really no excuss for a court officer to break the law. If they do thet need to step down.
