Yeah the college kids can register to vote, but I was saying we can't if we aren't registered to Murray. People seem to think that MSU students get to vote in this. There's 2700 registered voters in Murray, if all MSU students got to vote, we would pretty much be the governing body of Murray since there are 11,000 of us haha.

Anyone who claims to be a resident of Murray could and should register and vote. Of course you should also buy a $50 city sticker if you're a resident. While you're at it, you'll need to change your car tags and pay the same taxes and fees as everyone else. It's not that hard to do and it's part of being a citizen.

One, not sure what you are on, liquor or drugs but it sure has to be something because you are out of it, you're consumed.

You notice that Elkins has determined that the special election will be July 17th when nearly all the college people will be gone and won't get to vote. I think they could have found a way of putting this on the primary or the general election. If the stupid laws of this state are so far from reality that they have to have a special election, then the lawmakers should change that stupid law. There's no way the taxpayers should have to foot the bill because of a stupid law. It's apparent that Elkins and others in this town doesn't want a liquor store but it's ok to get drunk in all the bars in town, and all the sorority houses, then drive. This town and county has always been wet, like it or not. There was a time around here, across the lake where you could buy moonshine from a Trooper's dad who made it. It burns me up the way the leaders around here operate.
Jill they are not residents so they would not be elgible to vote anyway
