It's just a beginning in the dismantling of the false science that has caused harm to the world people.

There has been "No" biological defect found for any mental illness or any of the other made to order diagnoses by any neurological study.

Without a test for chemical imbalance the mental health (psychiatry) is limited in the ancillary tests of medicine like an EKG, EEG, blood work or other tests in the diagnoses of a patient. They aren't needed in Psychiatry.

The psychiatric diagnosis is made on the basis of behavior and hearsay.

If we respect metabolic changes based on daily dietary habits, weight gain / loss , terms of the survival of the organisms as a person age along with physical conditioning, physical illness, electrolyte level, gender differences , body temperature, I don't see how the Mental Health and Counseling Industry could conform to any consistency in data with consideration to the above to state a person has a mental disease or illness based on chemical imbalance.

Eli Lilly, Zyprexa, & the Bush Family (The diseasing of our malaise)

By Bruce Levine

Pasted from < http://psychrights.org/articles/LevineLillyan... ;

More than one journalist has uncovered corrupt connections between the Bush Family, psychiatry, and Eli Lilly & Company, the giant pharmaceutical corporation. While previous Lillygates have been more colorful, Lilly’s soaking state Medicaid programs with Zyprexa—its blockbuster, antipsychotic drug—may pack the greatest financial wallop. Worldwide in 2003, Zyprexa grossed $4.28 billion, accounting for slightly more than one-third of Lilly’s total sales. In the United States in 2003, Zyprexa grossed $2.63 billion, 70 percent of that attributable to government agencies, mostly Medicaid.
Historically, the exposure of any single Lilly machination—though sometimes disrupting it—has not weakened the Bush-psychiatry-Lilly relationship. In the last decade, some of the more widely reported Eli Lilly intrigues include:
• Influencing the Homeland Security Act to protect itself from lawsuits
• Accessing confidential patient records for a Prozac sample mailing
• Rigging the Wesbecker Prozac-violence trial
A sample of those who have been on the Eli Lilly payroll includes:
• Former President George Herbert Walker Bush (one-time member of the Eli Lilly board of directors)
• Former CEO of Enron, Ken Lay (one-time member of the Eli Lilly board of directors)
• George W. Bush’s former director of Management and Budget, Mitch Daniels (a former Eli Lilly vice president)
• George W. Bush’s Homeland Security Advisory Council member, Sidney Taurel (current CEO of Eli Lilly)
• The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (a recipient of Eli Lilly funding)
In 2002, British and Japanese regulatory agencies warned that Zyprexa may be linked to diabetes, but even after the FDA issued a similar warning in 2003, Lilly’s Zyprexa train was not derailed, as Zyprexa posted a 16 percent gain over 2002. The growth of Zyprexa has become especially vital to Lilly because Prozac—Lilly’s best-known product, which once annually grossed over $2 billion—having lost its patent protection, continues its rapid decline, down to $645.1 million in 2003.

At the same time regulatory agencies were warning of Zyprexa’s possible linkage to diabetes, Lilly’s second most lucrative product line was its diabetes treatment drugs (including Actos, Humulin, and Humalog), which collectively grossed $2.51 billion in 2003. Lilly’s profits on diabetes drugs and the possible linkage between diabetes and Zyprexa is not, however, the most recent Lillygate that Gardiner Harris broke about Zyprexa in the New York Times on December 18, 2003.

33 dead at Virginia and the Mental Health / Pharmacutical Industry hide the problem and lie to the AMERICAN people. Don't want this to happen anywhere else.

Virginia Tech

Saturday, February 13, 2010
11:22 AM

Cho had a history of psychotropic and Depressant drug usage and may have become a mental health assassin considering psychotherapy and mind drugs. Possibly the perfect crime for a mental health worker.

Virginia Tech:

quote:

The investigation panel had sought Cho's medical records for several weeks, but due to privacy laws, Virginia Tech was prohibited from releasing them without permission from Cho's family, even after Cho's death.[103] The panel had considered using subpoenas to obtain his records. On June 12, 2007, Cho's family released his medical records to the panel, although the panel said that the records were not enough.[104][105] The panel obtained additional information by court order.[106] Like the Columbine massacres, and Jokela school massacres, the perpetrators of the Virginia Tech masascre, Cho Seung-Hui, was also prescribed an anti-depressant (Prozac) prior to his suicidal rampage, a substance suspected by Peter Breggin and David Healy of leading to suicidal behaviors.[107]

There was a cover up in hiding the records pf Cho by the psychiatist

----------

Virginia Tech Shooter's Psych Doctor Hid Mental Health Records for Seung-Hui Cho (correction)

NaturalNews) New revelations about the mental "treatment" of Virginia Tech shooter Seung-Hui Cho are surfacing today after the surprise discovery of his mental health records in the home of the former university psych doctor who treated him. These mental health records -- which have not yet been made public -- have been missing since the shooting took place. Dr. Robert C. Miller, we now know, took the records home and secretly kept them there, avoiding telling police about their location. They were only found during a document discovery phase of a pending trial.

The fact that these records were taken from the university, then hidden in the home of the psych doctor who treated the victim, and then were not even found by a Governor-appointed commission (which never even bothered to interview Dr. Miller) seems almost unbelievable.

Parents of the shooting victims feel the same way. "Deception comes to my mind in my first response," said parent Suzanne Grimes in an AP article. "It gives me the impression,'What else are they hiding?'"

"What information is in those records?" asked parent Lori Haas.(Her daughter was also wounded in the shootings.)

"The words that come to mind are coverup, collusion, obstruction," said parent Mike Pohle in a Washington Post report.(His son was also killed in the incident.) "I'm spinning. Who knows what could be in those records?" he asked.

In 2007, when the university was conducting an exhaustive search for the records, Dr. Robert C. Miller claimed he didn't know where they were. Virginia State Police are now investing whether a crime was committed by Dr. Miller.(Removing mental health records and hiding them in your home is, indeed, a crime.)

But this isn't even the most shocking part of this story...

Dr. Robert C. Miller was part of the incident response team

Psychiatrist Won't Practice Medicine After Girl's Death
4-Year-Old Died Of Drug Overdose, Officials Said

Pasted from < http://www.thebostonchannel.com/news/10955712... ;

The two year old at the time was given a diagnosis of attention deficit disorder and bipolar disorder, which is characterized by mood swings and drugged on a cocktail of drugs.

Why was the infant put on a cocktail of psychotropic drugs in the first place?

What I question is why the Psychiatrist was give immunity in the prosecution?

I further question why the Defense attorney didn't ask her what medical model, what evidence based medicine did she have for the diagnoses. I would have further asked if the Psychiatrist received any compensation or incentive from the pharmaceutical industry in prescribing mind drugs.

What is more interesting is that in a later suit (with the same persons, different case = wrongful death ) this infant who for two years till her death had her brains boiled in toxic mind chemicals based on no real diagnoses since there isn't any because the APA admitted in 2007 that there was no test for chemical imbalance and that the industry lied for the purposes of drugging infants, children and adults for political and economic reasons.

The Psychiatrist voluntarily gives up her license. Isn't that nice... since she can reapply and be reinstate I 90 days.

(Also take note that in many of the case in which a child or adult dies the psychiatrist merely changes to a new working alias and move out of state).

I guess the proof in the pudding (considering the Andrea Yates case) and others case that, Psychiatrist (mental health personnel) are not accountable for their wrong doing because they are a part on the Judiciary in their opinion and the court protects their own.

Conclusion:

The court protects those in power. No justice in Boston. That's for sure.

Who profits: The State Department of Education, the mental health and counseling Industry, the Pharmaceutical company and the money that is kicked back by lobbyists for politicians special interest and of course the legal profession.

EXPOSED: "Scandalous Abuse" of the Elderly Being Killed With Psychiatric Medications
Monday, February 08, 2010 by: David Gutierrez, staff writer

NaturalNews) Elderly dementia patients are being subjected to "scandalous abuse" by being drugged with dangerous antipsychotic drugs, according to a letter by ten influential health organizations, published in The Daily Telegraph.

"[One hundred thousand] people with dementia in care homes are being inappropriately prescribed a damaging chemical cosh of antipsychotic drugs and new research suggests that there is a significant problem in hospitals too," the letter reads. "Antipsychotics should only ever be a last resort. This over prescription is abuse and it must stop.... We cannot stand by while this scandalous abuse of vulnerable citizens continues."

Although antipsychotic drugs are intended for people with medical conditions such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and are not approved for the treatment of dementia, studies show that nursing homes and hospitals regularly prescribe them to these patients as sedatives, in order to make them easier for doctors and nurses to handle.

Research has shown, however, that antipsychotic drugs can double a patient's risk of death if used for three years. Another study found that dementia patients are three times more likely to suffer a stroke if given antipsychotic drugs.

A 2008 report by British Minister of Parliament Paul Burstow concluded that 23,500 dementia patients are being killed every year by inappropriate prescription of antipsychotics in nursing homes. However, a recent survey by the Alzheimer's Society marks the first time that researchers have looked into the prevalence of the problem in hospitals.

The trust found that three-quarters of nurses surveyed said they had seen antipsychotics used to sedate dementia patients, while one-quarter said they had seen the drugs used inappropriately.

"The massive over prescription of antipsychotics to people with dementia is an abuse of human rights, causing serious side effects and increasing risk of death," said Neil Hunt of the Alzheimer's Society. "The government must take action to ensure that these drugs are only ever used as a last resort."

"While the Department of Health prevaricates, thousands of people are being put at risk through the misuse of antipsychotics," said Rebecca Wood of the Alzheimer's Research Trust.

Brain Stains: Traumatic therapies can have long-lasting effects on mental health

http://mnemosynosis.livejournal.com/12980.htm...

A wave of nausea washed over Sheri J. Storm when she opened the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on a February morning a decade ago and saw the headline:“Malpractice lawsuit: Plaintiff tells horror of memories. Woman emotionally testifies that psychiatrist planted false recollections.” The woman in the article shared a lot with Storm—the same psychiatrist, the same memories, the same diagnosis of multiple personality disorder. At that moment, Storm suddenly realized that her own illness and 200-plus personalities, though painfully real to her, were nothing more than a figment of her imagination—created by her trusted therapist, Kenneth Olson.

Child psychiatry is sick with hidden conflicts of interest
By Dr. Leonard Sax

Sunday, December 14th 2008, 4:00 AM

When I first began writing prescriptions for children 22 years ago, it was unusual for a child to be taking powerful psychiatric drugs. Today it's common. How did we get here?

Dr. Joseph Biederman is part of the answer. He's an important guy. His title is "chief of pediatric psychopharmacology" at Massachusetts General Hospital, the main teaching hospital for Harvard Medical School. Pediatricians and family doctors look to him, and doctors like him, for guidance about what they should do with problem kids. For the past two decades, Biederman has pushed the use of medications for treating ADHD and bipolar disorder. Over the past two decades, the use of medications for treating those disorders has soared.

Deadly Bush-Backed SSRI
Antidepressant Schemes
By Evelyn Pringle

http://www.rense.com/general64/ssru.htm

snip:

At an FDA hearing on the safety of psychotropic drugs on Feb 2, 2004, dozens of tortured parents testified that their children had committed suicide or other violent acts after being prescribed the same drugs that are being marketed in the Bush-backed pharmaceutical industry schemes aimed at recruiting the nations 52 million school children as customers.

In July 2003, the Bush appointed New Freedoms Commission on Mental Health (NFC) recommended screening all children for mental illness and designated TeenScreen as a model program to ensure that every student receives a mental health check-up before finishing high school.

The NFC also has a preferred drug program in place modeled after the Texas Medication Algorithm Project (TMAP), that lists what drugs are to be used on children found to be mentally ill.

The list contains every drug that people complained about at the FDA hearing, including Paxil, Zoloft, Celexa, Wellbutron, Zyban, Remeron, Serzone, Effexor, Buspar, Risperdal, Zyprexa, Seroqual, Geodone, Depakote, Adderall, and Prozac.

The Mental Health Parity Scam

Snip:

President Bush, in yet another slap at the free-enterprise system, wants to force health-insurance companies to cover mental illnesses in the way they cover bodily illnesses. This is known as “mental-health parity.”
According to the Washington Post, the psychiatrists in the audience applauded when Bush made his announcement. No kidding. They stand to reap big bucks if such legislation passes.
By what authority does the federal government order insurance companies to provide a particular kind of coverage? I thought we believe in capitalism in this country. There is nothing to prevent buyers and sellers of health insurance from bargaining to include any services they want. Some policies already include psychiatric services. Why is coercion advocated?
Because the price of the coverage is higher than people want to pay, and these days if you can’t get something you want through persuasion, you turn to force—more precisely, you ask the government to do it for you.

That's funny... my medication really helps me. I'm diagnosed bipolar, post traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, generalized anxiety and generalized depressive disorder. I've been on medication for years now and I've noticed a HUGE difference in my behavior and therefore, my life.
Yes, there may be no physical symptoms that can be seen on the outside and psychiatry may have to base the diagnosis on behavior and hearsay, but sometimes things happen in life that affect the mind. Try being beaten to a bloody pulp on a daily basis as a child. Try being abandoned as a child... try being abused as a girlfriend and held at knife point by someone who "loves" you. There are no physical symptoms to the destruction that those things cause. There are VERY real outcomes to those tragedies. I've been given medication for my bi-polar that has balanced out my moods. Also, Valium for when I start to panic... when those memories of my past effect my present.
and i have to say... geez... you like to copy and paste... ALOT!
