Who Cares, it took you 8 years to get out of a shithole? You need to work on your ambition. B&S isn't holding anyone hostage... And a lot of people are working hard to keep Briggs in Murray. Briggs has done a lot for the community of Murray over the years.

Good luck, NJB

for those People who are working at B&B
Keep working let the plant close if that is what it going to do.
For those of you that want to go to college this
is your free ticket and beside if B&B is going out there not one thing that you can do to stop it

I agree with you this would be a great time for any briggs employee to start college. If so take advantage of the companies reimbursement program and start now, then if it colses there is a state program that pays for displaced workers to go back to school.

That program I found has not helped very many people find other jobs. I know alot of jobs left here and most of the people winded up takeing lower jobs than they had.

[email protected] is a very good place to work because I know, I work there. It has supported my family with good income, productivity checks twice a year, great healthcare benefits, and we have the best plant manager that could ever be. The problems at Briggs and Stratton start with some of the bitchy women that work there. Get rid of them and work related problems would be finished.I am blessed to have my job at Briggs and Stratton. Thank you much for listening.
