Wow! Twenty-three miles over the limit violation is just wiped away with a $10 fine? Does this really happen often in Calloway County?

all the time. to be honest, the guy got a pretty harsh sentence. most possession cases cases get suspended sentence. i'm surpirsed he's serving any time at all.

Im curious about the amount of Weed? And was this his first offense? Does he have a prior record? These things are all revalent concerning his sentence. In saying this if this was a first offense 30 days is excessive for Misd. Possesion. Typically first offense for this would have been NO TIME or a couple days. And a fine

I believe it said three days. They consolidated some of the drug charges into the possession. Twenty-seven miles over the limit was knocked down to a $10 equipment violation. That's the part that most people I know think is a bit soft.

Has anyone thought that maybe he sold someone else down the road for a lighter sentence for himself?
It seems to be the ONLY way things are done around here. I don't know about anyone else but I couldn't live myself after doing someone like that.
Take what's coming to you and shut up I say.

He got a bit of the harsh end. I mean, I only got 3 days for a DUI, marijuana possession, and drug paraphernalia. Then an extra week for being homeless.
