Cold Case Murder Arrest in Texas

On this date 03/27/07) Detective Steve Silfies presented evidence pertaining to the June 04, 1991 of murder of Sheila Hargrove in Hopkins County.

Dale Day was arrested on March 28 - In just four days he will have been in jail for two months. He is still in jail in Texas. He waived extradiction, but remains in a Fort Worth jail. The Kentucky state police continue to question more people in Kentucky saying they are going to solve this case. Why do they continue to hold Bradley Dale Day if they are still trying to solve the case??? At this point, Bradley has lost his job - house, etc. will be next - very shortly.

I believe, the reason, why they are holding him because they need to make sure that they got all the evidence. Also, they need time to make sure they have gotten all the right information. There is a reason for everything. By law,even crimals have the right to testimony and need to be given the benefit of the doubt and we need to balance things out. That is why we have private investigator, hopefully an honest police, to get to the bottom line of what happen. Also, it depends on the severity of the crime into how they should be punish.
