I believe, my family moved to Point Comfort, Texas in 1965.I remember as a young child I thought we had moved to the best place on the whole Texas coast. I attended Point Comfort Elementry, Crockett Jr.High, 9th grade at Travis, and proudly graduated from Calhoun High School in 1971. I recently returned to Port Lavaca,Texas to visit family and was utterly shocked when we drove over the causeway to revisit the small town we grew up in.
What has happened to the quaint village it use to be? I saw so many houses in disrespair, and could only wonder who had allowed this to happen. I realize that I've been gone for a long time. I would love to come back to Point Comfort and call it home again. Futhermore, I would like information on who owns all the derelict homes their and what it would take to bring Point Comfort back to life and a place to be proud to live.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Taurus

Everything seems to be getting under your skin at the moment, but this is no excuse to lose your temper, and you know it. Better by far to be discreet and plough on steadily, without looking to the left or right. If you keep your feet on the ground and don't get discouraged, there are definitely fair winds that will blow you along. It's just a question of finding the right balance between confidence and commonsense.
