I am so glad that finally other people are helping in the search for Susan Powell,I myself have been spending uncountable hour looking for a shallow grave in the west desert,my family and myself been in and out of the death desert just looking for signs of anything, but until now, nothing, and please if anyone else decides to go into the west desert, just be prepared for all, from mud to snow in the roads, and take plenty of water,as for mostly nobody travel those roads Hardly ever, especially in this weather, and if anyone else goes out there, please be careful and good luck to you all..

She is not there people, your wasting your time. He said it as a diversion. Do you remember one of his initial interviews when he initially siad he went "south" camping? Then he changed it to "simpson springs"? He went south of West valley, folks. Simpson Springs is almost due west of West valley. He tipped his hand.

YES, this is the way to find Susan. On foot. Her body MUST be found. It's already been so long.

I agree with "whatever". On foot is right -- but the area is wrong. I believe Josh's slip of the tongue is where she is -- SOUTH. GO SOUTH, Searchers. ASAP.

Simpson Springs is due west from Santaquin, not West Valley. I have been told by a personal contact that law enforcement spent two weeks out there searching caves, mines, and what not. I don't necessarily beleive JP when he says he went there, but the area has to be checked just in case. I'm going to try to be at this search and any others that will follow.

Right, go out there and disturb the little bit of evidence there may be (sarcasm).
Leave the discovery to professionals. If he did this crime I would not want him to get away with it because some fool touched the wrong thing.

Simpson Springs is right next too Dugway hot shot. either way, its definitely not south of west valley or santaquin. You will be wasting your time out there looking for her. You'll never be able to look into all the areas anyway. all the mine shafts and caves in that area will have you volunteer amateurs going in circles. I hope nobody gets hurt.

I just looked at a map (again), and I can draw a straight line almost due west from Santaquin to the Simpson Springs camp ground. I know its semantics, and i guess west is west. My point was that it was not 'due west' of west valley. It's more parallel to Utah county. Just google map it like I did and you'll see what I was meaning. Sheesh!:D
