This kind of politics leaves a bad taste in my mouth any time of day. However , it goes to show that you can't trust politicians to honor their word to you. Even if you're rich with clout.

They don't have too. They have your "endless stream" of money to fight and oppress you with.

Times like these make me proud that, no one I voted for runs this county. As a matter of fact no one I have ever voted for has won in the 20 years I've lived here. The same politicians stayed in power over and over. I hear other folks say the same thing about their votes. Makes you wonder about the election system don't it?

No matter how you feel about him. Mr Smith made a deal and kept his end of it. My personal opinion is that he was the victim to start with. What moron buys a home next to a major racing venue then complains about the noise?

Phillip Morris had enough of their crap. I've had enough too. I plan to move out of Cabarrus and sell my home before this becomes a ghost town with pretty city gateways and towering police state gulags.
