We need a leader with integrity and professionalism. Riley has not shown these traits at all. Riley's values show us:
1. Cheating on you wife is ok.
2. Firing deputies for having their own opinion.
3. Firing a deputy for seeking employment with the State Highway Patrol.
4. Our tax dollars being spent on "on duty" deputies and county resources to promote his election campaign.

These are just a few examples of the types of unethical behavior you get with Riley.

David Graham is a strong leader, a true professional and has high values and morals. I know both Graham and Riley. Graham will bring the Sheriff's Office. Graham is more interested in the community than he is in politics. If Graham does not get elected, it's a big loss for Cabarrus County. Just look at his resume on his website, www.davidgraham4sheriff.com . Riley doesn't even compare.

I am so glad we have man like David Graham, we need a change and we need it bad, there is no direction with the present Sheriff.

David Graham is the best.....we need a change in this county and now is the time to do it. This man will do the job right.

I have met Mr. Graham,and his credentials are tremendous, so is his experience in law enforcement and he has Impeccable Integrity! The man is as good as it gets!

This gentleman has no skeletons or baggage or scandals- of any kind , just good reputation and good values that will serve our county real well!

I am voting for the finest and clear choice in Cabarrus County!

I think that big sign on Hwy 49 of Riley's is illegal,,,like everything else they do. I'm sure David Graham would not allow this to happen, Riley has no control of the Sheriff's Department he let them run wild.

The Cabarrus County Deputies made my choice of who to vote for, I watched them take down Graham signs in Harrisburg, I will vote for David Graham and I am a Democrat.

My boy spent a few days in Riley's jail. He had a medical issue (low blood sugar) and was told by a deputy to go lay down.

Called them to come check out a suspicious car on our street, it was three calls later, and 98 minuted before anyone showed. The deputy said he got the call 10 miutes before he showed up. Called to complain to Riley, no one ever called me back.

Don't know a thing about David Graham, but God knows, he has to be better than the lard that's there now. Got my votes!

I have lived here for eight years and all I know about Sheriff Riley is that has distance himself from issues of police misconduct. It’s never his fault and that is the last we hear about it. As a democrat and a member of the black community we need more information on who to vote for. I am not involved in politics and I have never called the Sheriff’s Office so I have no negative experiences. What I have been told is that our jail is full because the Sheriff keeps bonds high and 90 percent are awaiting trial.
-1------- for Riley – Cabarrus Sheriffs web page is out date, 2002 data as if you don’t care. Take a look at Concord, Charlotte and Charleston W.Va where I am from. When I read it, I want to know about you and your qualifications. There is nothing there so I guess you qualifications are private.

I don’t do facebook so I am still undecided but leaning toward Graham.

I have known, worked with and worked for David Graham for over 28 years as a LEO. I will say that Cabarrus County will not be disappointed. If you are a current employee of the Sheriff’s Department you will be proud to serve under his command as I have for years.

To Dave in Concord, I checked on Graham's party he is a Republican, I am a Democrat and I am voting for Graham.

I heard a Deputy talking about the Sheriff,he told them to shut down their radar and not write tickets because it would cost him votes,,I will be voting for Graham.

Brad Riley has done a wonderful job and is the best person for the job!

David Graham retired from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. RETIRED. His campaign signs deceptively and fraudulently refer to SHERIFF DAVID GRAHAM. He is not a Sheriff. He was a Police Officer. From the outset, the people of Cabarrus County are getting false information and false representation about this man--from this man. Mr. Graham is a self-proclaimed PROGRESSIVE. Be very wary, Cabarrus County voters, of PROGRESSIVE POLITICIANS. They are selling out our beloved America from border to border. Do your homework before you cast your ballots and vote for those who would protect and defend our citizens and our laws and preserve America!
