Who is going to give these two innocent men their lives back after YEARS of false imprisonment? Will there be an investigation into the DA office for not providing the defense with the DNA evidence that exonerated the defendants?

Just goes to show, never confess to a murder you didn't commit.

Thanks Asheville, you suckers. That evidence room was my piggy bank. And free guns, cash, and OC's if I wanted to get high. But once you caught me with my hands in the piggy bank, I quit and took my fat pension with me. Thanks for the golden parachute.

Thanks, Suckers!

If you are Bill Hogan, I want to tell you that Ron Moore threw you under the bus.

I understand that he and Reid Brown were picked up last night. I am still trying to confirm. If it is true, it's a great day for our county.

The money paid from the lawsuit which will undoubtedly be filed by Wilcoxson and Kagonyera will come from the pockets of every taxpayer in the state, including yours and mine. It's the citizenry of the state that will have to pay, not Bobby Medford or Ron Moore.

Judge Zoro Guice was once sued for an outrageous violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the civil rights of a wheelchaired woman he refused to allow to go to the ladies' room. So she sat humiliated in the courtroom in her wheelchair and urinated all over herself.

A large 6-figure verdict was issued against the bad judge, but he didn't have to pay one dime. The people of North Carolina had to pay every cent of it, while he grinned like a possum.

Wonder how they convinced them to do it? Makes you wonder about our system doesn't it? A person wouldn't just admit to a crime he didn't commit without some persuasion?

There have been plenty of cases of false confessions and the tactics used to break the accused into signing false statements. Question them for hours without sleep, scream in their faces, suggest "how" they committed the crime, tell them they have absolute proof and if they dont confess they may face a life sentence or the death penalty, etc. And remember, this investigation in buncombe was handled not only by DA Moore, but by our very own little mumbling bully with a badge, medford, who now sits in the same prison as Bernie Madoff. What a satisfying image of Ponzi Madoff having to spend the rest of his days with Mumbling Medford.

Boy, that innocence commission report had some interesting notes on the practices of District Atty. Moore. Wonder if Bobby gets the news up at Butner?

Well if these two men are released then somebody else needs to be arrested for the crime.

The answer is VERY simple: CROOKED D.A. hint: his last name begins with the letter M!

I think that kind of logic is what led to the two innocent men being falsely imprisoned for years after DNA evidence exonerated them. Read the commission report for all the dirty details. It makes for interesting reading.

How about the sweet deal the DA has with the drug rehab director Bacoate? I'm betting the DA will want to handle that one "administratively " just like the ABC Board allegations.

Whatever happened to the Lexington Ave.tow truck scam that was uncovered by the APD sting operation? Was that an administrative judgement call by/to the DA? The citizens of Asheville have a right to know! Is the same Tow Truck operator allowed to troll the streets of Asheville ? Nice job if you can get it!

The crook who owns that crooked operation is still in business. Maybe because he's an ex-cop?
