"Sule also wants to build stronger partnerships with Buncombe County and the N.C. Department of Transportation. The county adopted a Greenway Master Plan in 2012 that calls for building roughly 80 miles of pathways. But Sule laments that implementation is yet to even start, saying the plan needs a 'champion.'"

All this talk about Greenways, and the plan isn't even rolling yet? What's holding it up? I thought Greenways were like totally popular here with all the treehuggers?

The same thing that holds up everything else in Asheville. Do you need a hint? Think of a group of people that talk a lot but can't manage to get anything done.
