Don't expect me to convene a grand jury to look into thievery in the evidence room. I knew about Medford, I knew about Bill Hogan, I knew about Jackie Shepherd and Demeter Theodossis, I knew about the ABC Board violations and Curtis Canty. A DA knows who to prosecute and who not to prosecute. It's not law, it's politics.

And I don't prosecute my friends even if they're guilty. Prosecutions are for the low classes. They don't have the power or money to put up a defense, and most of them don't vote.
