Report: MSD, Asheville water merger could save millions
The regional sewerage organization will issue a report this week stating it could merge with the city's water system without raising sewer rates or cutting city water staff, saving millions in operational costs in the process.

the stupid vote was meaningless...its a state level decision...all the dumbasses in Asheville thought otherwise and voted anyway...typical idiots too ignorant to be voting...
