Cops: Asheville man fired gun into occupied home
Eric Elvin Melendez, 27, of Cordova Street, was charged Saturday with discharging a weapon into occupied property and two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, according to warrants at the Buncombe County magistrate's office.
