Another blackeye for our township. I'm sure other townships leadership wouldn't get away with this crap. I wonder if other township's BOS's are drunks.
People should know that this affects how fast our homes sell. If they don't sell we can't get out.

If your home isn't selling, it's over-priced. If your home's for sale and you don't have a generator running when a buyer looks at it, you're stupid. The BOS has nothing to do with PPL not getting you electricity.

Richland does not control the power grid, but they could have used portable generators at the down traffic signals. Someone could have gotten killed when they were out.

I hope they come and cut the trees down that are laying on the lines they are literally about two feet from the ground. I got lost the other day and I was astounded to see so many lines still on the ground. It's incredible.

I don't think it has anything to do with the electric so much as the township isn't ready for a major problem, in fact that storm in our town really wasn't as bad as it could have been.

The trouble I hear in that news story is Richland Township was one of the last towns to get their problems under control which DOES say alot for the township and it's leadership or lack of.

With that being said I would consider that as a factor if I were thinking of moving there, not to mention the service the taxpayers recieve for their really high taxes.

You were published in the penny Power yesterday, was it necessary to post again on Topix?

LOL, I hate Orloff, but you can't blame the lack of electricity on the BOS.

It would only be if the entire area had power and that house didn't.
