What a waste of energy , resources & $$$$$$$. Though I appreciate hard work of a persons commitment to his job. Its a shame to be wasted on that rather than controlling a legal marijuana process that benefits a persons "free choice with responsibility" to the community. Its a war that doesn't have to be fought. To many in jail for a joint. Put down your arms and chill.$22 Mil . Buckingham county , hows your budget and social programs. Shame the responsible loving church goers I know have to hide .

Way to go to all the officers involved. What a sigh of relief knowing this operation was shut down. Everyone involved should be very proud! Thank you Sheriff Kidd for participating in this eradication. Shows you're a Sheriff that sticks by keeping your county safe! Keep up the good work Sheriff Kidd and deputies!

People should understand how LE calculate the "street value" of any pot plants confiscated and destroyed. They calculate the maximum yield of each plant had it matured in perfect conditions, and was sold at top dollar on the street. These plants could have been in poor condition, and only a few inches tall, it seems to matter more how effective they appear to be, than what they really are. This phony war on drugs is more physiological than it is physical, and the media does it's part in this game of charades.

Yes,the dollar value of what they sieze is always BS.They weigh the entire plant, stalk, leaves and all wet,and calculate it at the top dollar.Makes them look good I suppose.Truth is,if you take the weight ans reduce it by probably 80% you might have something a little more real.

Ah, yes, the poor misguided efforts of law enforcement anywhere and everywhere. Violent crime rampant, and these take the easy road by waging war on somebody's pot garden.

But on the other hand, I won't have to worry any more about being held hostage, robbed and beaten, by those malevolent and dangerous pieces of vegetable matter, lurking in the shadows at every corner.

I can sleep much more easily now thanks to the courageous valiant men of the Buckingham Sheriff's Office.

Sorry, I disagree - I was married to a weedsmoker.(key work being "was") I got sick of being with a red eyed, pot smelling, unmotivated slug who'd rather fire up a disgusting blunt than spend time with his children. And no he wasn't like that before he started smoking that cr@p. It was just a bad habit he picked up from the friends he made on his new job. The smell of that stuff alone is enough to make you puke! One word for people who say smoking weed does no harm. Here it is: DENIAL.
