So many fires this week. So sad to see an old church go.

Taylor, I'm sorry that you feel that church is only a place to pray. I would encourage you to attend and find out what it's really all about. God loves you too even though you do not know him. I pray right now that you will take the opportunity to get to know him before it's too late. Best of luck to you in your walk.

No, we can't JUST pray at home. Prayer is not all there is to worship. I was given a beautiful singing voice, which I use to worship and bring glory to God Almighty. I do that at home and at church.

I worship out in Nature, at the ocean, in the mountains, in a shopping mall and in a traffic jam. I also worship at my church at least twice a week. Try it, you might like it.

You keep worshipping God where you want. Some people don't believe that you can be thankful outside a church. But i thank God for opening my eyes, and letting me get out of bed. a lot of people can't do that.I thank God for the little things that we take for granted. May God continue to bless you.

We worshiped at Arvon Church for many years and remember the wonderful people who were members there. As Peg Johnson said, the building is not what makes the church, it is the people! Therefore, the church is still in existence!!
