I feel sorry for the victims. Wonder if David Cecil will get to keep the 4 new cars he bought.Or will they be sold to get some of the money back for the ones who he wiped out?

you would have thought he would sometime in his
life be "straight up" about the real problem that
costs so much instead of hiding behind his family.

I think poor ole Dave has not been telling the
truth for so long it just comes natural to him...
likeable guy but full of it...and has been doing
the "no responsibility" act for so long that it
just caught up with him...And Yes, so sorry for
both families...Hopefully, Dave can make amends
to the families. His family loves him I am sure
for all his faults and mistakes even though some
of them are unacceptable...

What are you talking about? People don't get pardons for not paying tax. Beside that it would be the Governor of Va to do that.Since when do you lose your right to vote for not paying your taxes?

I don't care what the Baxters did or any body else. That didn't give David Cecil a license to steal their money or any body elses. He not only is a thief he is a dope addick that was let go while the poor boys in grundy was given 20-30 years in the state prison. Justice in Grundy is not blind.they see the poor and they are given as much time as possible. The so called powerful like David Cecil is given a light pat on the shoulder. I am surprised he got anything.Dr. Baxter did a lot for this county and I don't appreciate anybody putting him down to try to make somebody that has done nothing but steal look good. Wonder where Cecil hid the money he stole if he didn't buy vehicles. Maybe he had another expensive habit besides stealing.

I know some families and especially parents are
wondering how their child received such harsh
punishment for drug offenses when this sentence
was so light and considering it will be served
in a "hotel setting" and maybe in a couple of
months when everyone forgets, maybe in a "house
setting", makes you wonder, is it who you know,
or is it just who you are, or is it who yours
friends are...does it seem a bit unfair....

Then they have the nerve to try and get on here and blame the Baxters because he robbed them .I guess this is the way priviledged, spoiled characters act.
seems that way

Something don't add up...they have been
rounding up all the bad guys and throwing the
book at them and then if you wear a white shirt
and a tie then it ain't so bad...still rubbing my
head on that one...
It is that way

If you have a suit and white shirt and a tie on you must surely be in the click somewhere. It doesn't matter if you did steal the money that the clothes were bought with. Think when I get my next check I will go and buy a suit , white shirt and tie. If I get in any trouble I will claim to be the nephew of some so called big wig in Grundy. Maybe I will get A pat on the shoulder and then I will pubicly throw stones at the victims just like the Cecil supporters are doing. Because I would know then That I could get by with anything.

Didn't you read all I wrote above. The Baxters owe us.I will say it again. We are good people. We are going to support David. He will not pull a day until his appeal, if then. He is at home enjoying life. You people that are jealous because he is smarter than your averge bear need to get a life and shut up. You may end up with a little prison time yourself.
