Unbelievable. He should be ashamed. The Baxter family has done so much good for Buchanan County. Then to steal from the trust. Like the RAM. Frannie was instrumental in this. Wonder why the lawyer was in such great need of money that he had to get it illegally?

Buchanan county is all about the " big fish " as long as you have enough money to grease the hands of our so called town leaders you can pretty much do as you please here..That is one of the main reasons the county is in the shape it is ( not the only reason just one of them )... I say we kick them all out and try a whole new crew and see what happens!!

Joyce's brother is Bill Cecil who lives in Lynchburg and is married to Karen Belcher. David's sister is Diane Cecil Holland, the pharmacist.

Absolutely shameful and how embarrassing for his family, mostly his kids.

The Baxter's did nothing but good for Buchanan County. Like a lot of other families, economics drove moves... Dr. Baxter did not have a bad bone in his body...he was a wonderful, dedicated doctor who believed in taking care of everyone whether they had money or not...He spent out way more on good deeds than you could ever imagine and he did not look for recompense...unlike some of the doctors currently working at Buch General...

does anyone remember the office called BREATH Of VA? was at the old Baxter office at Vansant. Well lots of Dr's got in trouble with billing people for breathing machines and what nots they didn't use or need. Even took Dr. Modi for a ride. Looks like what comes around goes around. This was back in the day, tho people forget.

Now why do you keep refering to "big fish". Is it because Dr. Baxter used to use the phrase, "you can be a big fish in a little pond or a little fish in a big pond." Sounds like you are not being nice. Fran has been very resourceful at bringing affordable heathcare to the people of Buchanan County who have no access to . Beth has devoted her life to the betterment of nurses. They do a lot of good work. Maybe Beth or Fran should run for Congress. I would vote for either one of them.

Yeah, those people in high places need to get off their high horse and rear ends, quit W.A.T.C.H.I.N.G. and start A.C.T.I.N.G. Don't be fooled about some pie in the sky "they'll get theres in the end". The world don't work thay way.
