In Buchanan country most of the people make their living in th coal fields some way or another. The coal companies like United and other mine the coal and pay the minners a wage and most of the time its just enough to get by while tere are making millons of dollars and when times get rough they don't give a rat's ass for the men who mine the coal for them.Just think of the men who as die in the mines trying to just get by and the owners sit in their office robbing the minners and if they don't make money they wnat to they just lay-off people.I think the big companies that mine coal in the county they should set up a fund for minners when they are laid off I know they can draw unemployment but sometimes this not enough to get by with.
